Veteran Home Care Across Northern Utah

Honoring those who served

Happy to Help provides veteran home care to families throughout Northern Utah, including Bountiful, Layton, Ogden, Brigham City.

Many veterans and their surviving spouses qualify for VA benefits that cover the full cost of in-home caregiving — but most families never apply because the process feels overwhelming. At Happy to Help, we take care of the paperwork from start to finish. Our care coordinators work directly with the VA to determine eligibility, file the application, and follow up until benefits are approved.

Once approved, your loved one receives professional in-home care at little or no out-of-pocket cost. Our caregivers assist with daily routines, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping — all in the comfort of home. We also coordinate with the VA Homemaker and Home Health Aide (HHA) program and help families understand Aid & Attendance pension benefits.

Whether your veteran served in Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf War, or any other conflict, they deserve quality care. We honor their service by making sure they get every benefit they've earned — without the red tape.

Common Questions

Veteran Home Care FAQ

How do I know if my veteran qualifies for VA home care benefits?
Generally, veterans who served at least 90 days of active duty (with at least one day during wartime) and need help with daily activities may qualify. Surviving spouses may also be eligible. We offer a free eligibility check — call us and we'll review your situation at no cost.
How long does it take to get VA benefits approved?
The VA approval process typically takes 3 to 6 months, but we can often begin care while the application is pending. We handle all the paperwork and follow up with the VA so you don't have to.
Does my veteran need to have a service-connected disability?
No. The Aid & Attendance pension benefit is for veterans who need help with daily activities, regardless of whether their condition is service-connected. If your veteran needs assistance with bathing, dressing, or mobility, they may qualify.
Can I combine VA benefits with private pay or insurance?
Yes. Many families use VA benefits to cover a base level of care and supplement with private pay or long-term care insurance for additional hours. We'll help you coordinate all payment sources.
