Our Story
Built on Compassion, Driven by Purpose
Happy to Help Caregiving was founded on a simple belief: every person deserves to age with dignity in the comfort of their own home.

Meet the Founder
A Message from Our CEO
I started Happy to Help Caregiving because I saw too many families struggling to find reliable, compassionate care for the people they love most. The big agencies felt impersonal. The gig platforms felt risky. I knew there had to be a better way.
Today, we operate in 6 communities across 5 states — but every location still feels local. Our caregivers aren’t contractors from an app. They’re trained, supported team members who we trust with our own families.
Whether your loved one is a veteran navigating VA benefits, a parent who needs help with daily routines, or a grandparent who just wants someone to share a cup of coffee with — we’re happy to help. That’s not just our name. It’s our promise.

Our Mission
Why We Do This
We provide compassionate, non-medical in-home caregiving that empowers families and honors the independence of every client we serve. From companion care to veteran-focused services, we meet families where they are — with no minimum hours, flexible scheduling, and transparent pricing.
Every caregiver on our team is bonded, insured, and covered by workers’ compensation. We’re not a marketplace — we’re an agency that stands behind every person we send into your home.
What Guides Us
Our Values
Dignity First
Every care plan starts with respect. We listen, we adapt, and we honor the preferences of every client and family.
Agency, Not Marketplace
We are a caregiving agency — not a gig platform. Our caregivers are screened, trained, and supported. You’re hiring a team, not scrolling a marketplace.
Transparent Pricing
$28–$36/hr with no minimums, no surprise fees, and no contracts. We believe families deserve to know exactly what they’re paying from day one.
Veteran Commitment
We specialize in helping veteran families navigate VA Aid & Attendance benefits. Our team handles the paperwork so families can focus on care.
Understanding Your Options
Home Care vs. Home Health Care
These terms are often confused. Here's the difference.
| Non-Medical Home Care | Home Health Care | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Assistance with daily living — companionship, personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation | Skilled medical services — wound care, injections, physical therapy, medication management |
| Who provides it | Trained, background-checked caregivers (non-medical) | Licensed nurses, therapists, and medical professionals |
| Prescription needed? | No — families arrange care directly | Yes — requires a doctor's order |
| Payment | Private pay, VA benefits, long-term care insurance | Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance |
| Happy to Help provides | Yes | No |
Happy to Help Caregiving provides non-medical home care only. If your loved one needs skilled medical care at home, ask your doctor for a home health referral. Many families use both services together.
